Ivermectin Gel Matsuda is indicated for the combat and control of worm infestations affecting horses, donkeys, and mules.

Package Size

Disposable plastic syringes containing 6 g of product.

Dosage

It should be administered in a single dose, at a dosage equivalent to 0.2 mg of Ivermectin per kg of body weight. This dosage is easily achieved by adjusting the plunger of the syringe according to the weight of the animal.

Precautions

This product should not be applied to horses intended for human consumption.

Route of Administration

It should be administered directly orally, using the syringe that contains the product. After adjusting the plunger according to the horse's weight, insert the syringe nozzle into the animal's mouth and administer the product onto the tongue.

Gastrointestinal Worms: Large Strongyles: Strongylus vulgaris (Adult forms and arterial stages), Strongylus edentatus (Adult forms and tissue stages), Strongylus equinus (Adult forms), Triodontophorus (Adult forms). Small Strongyles: Cyathostomum spp. (Adult forms and 4th stage larvae), Cylicocyclus spp. (Adult forms and 4th stage larvae), Cyliostephanus spp. (Adult forms and 4th stage larvae), Cylicodontophorus spp. (Adult forms and 4th stage larvae), Gyalocephalus capitatus (Adult forms and 4th stage larvae). Other Roundworms: Habronema muscae, Trichostrongylus axei, Strongyloides westeri, Oxyuris equi (Adult and immature forms), Parascaris equorum (Adult forms, immature forms (L4), and migratory forms (L3)), Onchocerca sp. (Microfilariae). Lungworms: Dictyocaulus arnfieldi (Adult forms and 4th stage larvae). Gasterophilus: Gasterophilus spp. (Oral and gastric stages). Dermatoses caused by cutaneous larvae (Summer sores): Habronema spp., Draschia spp.
